DETROIT TIMELAPSE
This timelapse reminded me of the Imported From Detroit commercial.
TimeScapes - The Teaser. It’s seriously awesome even before you learn about the fact that it was filmed at 4 x 1080p HD! And then you watch people, radio telescopes and the sky dance at the rhythm of a great score.
For a few lucky ones TimeScapes is screening shortly in Las Vegas. For the rest of us, we’ll have to wait for our pre-ordered copy. In the mean time, enjoy the trailer.

Love Letter to the Windy City
For his Places in Time project, Chris Pritchard’s made this time lapse of Chicago, which in our opinion is the most underrated big city in the US. If you’ve ever been and were captivated for even a second, that moment that nips at you in nostalgic flashes is definitely here: the unique colour of the skyline at sunset, the faded light of its stocky buildings, and the sun-kissed, buttery river that weaves through the business district, utterly ignored by the gray suits walking briskly across. Oh, and The Bean. Of course The Bean.

Holi by Variable
We’re calling it now — slowing things down is the new speeding things up. Holi, a.k.a. the Festival of Colors celebrated by Hindus each spring, provides a gorgeous backdrop for this incredible study of the chromatic spectrum. Trust us, you’re gonna want to experience this festival in full screen.
ELECTRIC NEW YORK timelapse by Richard Bentley a.k.a. timeaftertimelapse
Sensory overload alert! Between a 5-minutes-into-the-future soundtrack and a fixation on the life that neon injects into the big apple, this take of New York City by Bentley is fantastic.
